sondheimmcgeekOf course the weekend I set aside to start intensive work on my 10 page paper is the same weekend the UC decides they're going to have a concert on the fucking terrace (which my window happens to be above).
It's hilarious. We get talked to like children for having a snowball fight on the terrace because OMG we're gonna disturb people. There was a gospel group who was practicing on the terrace and they got yelled at for disturbing people. However, if it somehow works in the favor of the UC, they don't give a fuck who they're disturbing.
I can't go up to the 18th floor lounge because A) I'm menstruating and that would be a bitch and B) my work has to do with what's saved on my laptop and I don't want to lug this thing up there...while I'm menstruating.
I can't wait to leave the UC.
Oh, by the by, we got an apartment! We can move in as early as August 1st! Woo!
