sondheimmcgeekSo last night I had an audition for four upcoming Directing II projects. When I got home (prior to the audition) I groaned and grunted about having to go back out again, but I did. And it was pouring. And I had no umbrella.
Me:...maybe there's a role for "Drowned Rat."
So I get there and, in my mind, suck majorly. I mean, I thought I did poorly. But the directors were congenial.
Well I guess I didn't suck too much because I got a callback for The Actor's Nightmare. I'm reading for Meg, the Stage Manager.
Also, I got a call from the Starbucks across the street from my apartment (not to be confused with the Starbucks three blocks down, where I also applied) about a job interview.
Not to mention, I kicked ass in Techniques in Singing (singing Se Tu M'a Mi). And Estelle (who is directing The Apple Tree) came in to talk to the teacher and happened to hear me, and complimented me.
Woo!
