Ok first in the good news! The Saenger Theater's season is as follows (in no particular order):
Thoroughly Modern Millie
Hairspray
Little Shop of Horrors
Movin' Out
Oliver!
The Graduate
Yeah, so Wicked isn't coming...yet. Maybe it'll be added on *crosses fingers* I'm still looking forward to it. If there was ever a year to get season tickets, this is that year!
This saturday, though, yours truly will have the pleasure of viewing Mel Brooks' The Producers! I am so excited!
Also, guess who will be turning the big one eight at 6:18am tomorrow *beams* Yay! I'll be legal. I could buy cigarettes if I want to! Not that I would. Smoking is the nastiest thing in the world. I can't imagine how someone can get pleasure out of inhaling smoke. *mysterious person enters and whispers in her ear* ...ok, so most, if not all, of the newsies smoke. And yeah, Race has his cigars. Well... everyone has their flaws...*stops before further making a hypocrite out of herself*
Onto the bad! *clears throat* Someone, who will remain nameless (lets' call him Ross B.,wait, that's too obvious...let's call him R. Bienvenu) has decided to quit Pippin! Granted he's in the chorus, but he's still an intricate part of the show. I'm already planning his torture. *rubs hands together in devious manner*
As for interesting, right now, in English class we are reading "Metamorphosis", a short story by Frank Kafka (?) in which a young man awakes one morning to find he has turned into a cockroach, which we decided was because of his profession/personality. Today, we had a discussion in which we decided what kind of animal each of us would be. Most people pegged me as a parrot. I don't know if I agree with that or not. I suggested knight_of_fire would most likely be either a peacock or a butterfly. Though I think I agree with whomever said spider. That probably works best. So, tell me...What kind of animal do you think I would be? Even if your opinion is based only on this single entry. I'm just curious to know.
Over and out!
