Proof that you can survive on four hours of sleep

You just need a crap-load of coffee!

Ok, let's talk about Senior Lock-in. Started at 9:00. Went in, mingled with classmates. They announced it was time to eat. I shared a cheese pizza with tigerchic1. Mark and Blakely also shared one.knight_of_fire  opted instead for the crawfish, which had to be kept out of Blakely's sight (they were staring at her). Ross had a salami and ham sandwich. On a friday. During lent

Me: You know it's lent, don't you?

Ross: *shrug* I don't care

Me: *nodding* Ok, so eat your sandwich and then you can burn in hell

Ross: *laughs* Yup! And I'll see you there

Then came the ever-lasting game of Uno (which I kicked ass in!)

Well it came to the point where we played poker and blackjack (using Uno cards as our "money") Well Mark and I were the only ones who reall, really knew how to play, so we were showing the others as we went along. We were pretty hyper too...

I was dealer for blackjack:

Me: *Had a face card and a four* dealer takes a hit *turn over a two* dealer takes a hit *turn over face card* dealer busts

Mark: *placing his hand over my cards* Colleen, can I touch your bust?

Me: Too bad I didn't bring my dice, we could play craps

Mark: I played craps today. It was a one person game though.

Ross: Was the dealer on crack?

Me: *going to the bathroom* Well I have a game of craps to get to

*after I returned from the bathroom*

Ross: So, how was the game?

Me: Pretty good. I got a royal flush!

So then they put in School of Rock to watch. I had been dying to see it, so I was excited. Well, halfway through the movie (actually, not even half-way), the girls and Ms. Barthe complained it wasn't funny and they wanted to watch Pearl Harbor *gag* As soon as they put it in, I was basically out like a light.

Then, just when I was falling into my peaceful slumber, I feel a head next to mine on my pillow. I open my eyes just in time to see a flash go off in my face. I didn't find out until later, but Ernie Stephens had placed his head next to mine and had someone take a picture. *shakes head at stupidity of class* Whatever...

Feel asleep at about 3:00am, got up at about 7:00am. Drove home, had some coffee, and was back at school for 9:00am for the creative writing car wash. I turned out to be one hell of a tire scrubber *beams*

Not sure how much we made all together, but I was there for only 2 hours and washed quite a few cars *crosses fingers and hopes we made enough to have a color cover*

Came home and got ready to see The Producers. Got to the Saenger at about 1:15 and the show started at about 2:00.

All in all, it was damn good. Allow me to give you the run-down:

Lewis J. Stadlen (Max Bialystock)-Pretty good. Very animated, good voice. I liked him (though as far as I'm concerned, Zero Mostel is, and always will be the ultimate Max Bialystock)

Alan Ruck (Leo Bloom)- Pretty good, though at some points it seemed like he was mimicking Gene Wilder (mainly in the very beginning and near the end). There's really only so much you can do with the character though I guess. Had a good voice

Fred Applegate (Franz Liebkind)-I liked him, very funny. My dad says he could play the part better though (that's my dad for you)

Josh Prince (Carmen Ghia)-Holy Schlomo! He was AWESOME! By far the best character in the show. Wonderful timing, great character, great singing, great everything. I think he was the audience's favorite as well.

Lee Roy Reams (Roger DeBris)- Alos a good one. He played the part very well, was hilarious.He played on hell of a Hitler as well!

Charley Izabella King (Ulla)-Pretty good. Very much a belter, and was a wonderful dancer. Very limber. And physically, she fit the part very well.

That's about it for that. Though one of my favorite parts:

Carmen: Well as far as I'm concerned, without your wig on, you're only half dressed

Roger: Then why don't you go get it  Wicked Witch of the West?

Carmen *gasp* *after loooong pause* If your intention was to pierce and arrow through my heart *pause* *near crying* bullseye!

So then my mom, my dad, my brother, and his girlfriend proceeded back to our house for my birthday celebration. I had a chocolate two layer cake (or something) and received:

Feels Like Home- Norah Jones

All in all it was a pretty good day.

Then my dad, mom, and I watched Prince of Space an MST3000 movie. I think I caught something though, cause I was sneezing up a storm!

I fell asleep at 10pm and didn't wake up until about 11 today. I guess those four hours caught up to me. I'm still a little under the weather though.
