So on tuesday, I got a call from Bob Bruce, asking me if I wanted to sing at the NORD open house on friday.

Me: Um...ok.

He had to get in touch with Jefferson about what I'd sing (probably something from Annie Get Your Gun). So for the entire rest of the week, I had no idea what I'd be singing. Friday, I had a message from Jefferson. We agreed to met at NORD for 5:30. From there we'd go to the Lyon's Center together.

Got there, went over "No Business Like Show Business" and "You Can't Get a Man With a Gun." Bob had never actually been to this thing before (it usually happened during a show). Not that he was particularly looking forward to going tonight. See, he, along with the other people who work at NORD theater, have still not gotten paid for Lamoura. Yeah, sucks. From what I understand Charlene Braud, who is the director of NORD, is a nasty little bitch (Roy's words when he ad-libbed during Lamoura). She's pretty much Public Enemy #1.

We were basically half-way down on the program. This meant sitting through an opening prayer (by someone who has obviously never led a prayer before), a badly sung version of "Star-Spangled Banner", opening comments which were supposed to be given by Charlene Braud (unfortunately, she was late. Ahem...) some dance, and a "Sports Showcase". All in all, it went well.

Charlene finally showed up, and I was surprised. I had expected her to be much older. Oh well. She's still a bitch.

Yesterday I also finished the second half of my math exam. One down, four to go.

Have to usher a show at UNO tonight and one tomorrow *sighs*
