- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 3 eggs
- 2 (4oz.) pkg. vanilla regular pudding mix
- 1/2 cup oleo, melted
- 3/4 cup water
- 4 cups milk
Combine 2 cups dry cake mix and oleo; mix until crumbly. Press in bottom of 9x13 inch pan. Cook pudding mix and milk as directed on package; pour hot mixture over unbaked crust in pan. Combine remainder of cake mix, water and eggs; mix as directed on package. Pour over hot pudding in pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for 30-35 minutes or until top springs back when lightly touched. Frost with glaze while still warm
Glaze:
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate
- 2-3 Tbsp. water
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Melt chocolate, oleo and water together; add sugar and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Frost cake; let cool several hours or overnight.
This is what I'll be cooking today for our Christmas Eve family get-together tomorrow night.
