Sep. 30th, 2006 01:13 pmLast night I went out to the Gene Siskel Film Center to see Fahrenheit 451 with Tegan, Danielle, Danielle's cousin, and her friend Migeul (?). Across the street, at the Chicago Theater, Beyonce was giving a MAcy's fashion show. Or something. After the film, we met up with two of her other friends (Jim and Emily) at Bennigan's.
Part way through our meal, one of the waiters comes up and tells Jim that his friend wants his number, but is too shy to come over and ask for it. So Jim gives the guy the number, and tells the waiter (Chris) to get the number of his friend (Eric) too.
We spent most of the night waiting for the guy to come over to the table and talk ot Jim. He never did. We also told Dead Baby Jokes and Helen Keller jokes.
Afterwards, we decided we should find a homeless person to give out leftovers to, but we couldn't find any. Then Eric had finally worked up the nerve to call Jim and asked him to meet him back at Bennigan's.
I went to work today and worked ther register for the first time. Damn you Starbucks for having endless choices and making it so fucking difficult to ring things up.
I got my final paychech from Smoothie King last week ($65) so I'm thinking of doing some shopping today. Winter is on it's way (it was freezing last night) so I should probably get some more things.
