I went out to my Character and Ensemble class today, only to find the room empty. Apparently they had gone to see Rose Tattoo. I wasn't in class on Tuesday, so I didn't know this. By the time I found this out, the show had already started. It's 2 1/2 hours, so it was pointless to wait around, so I came home.

The weather is miserble and I feel miserable. And Kurt Vonnegut died (may he rest in piece).

So I figured if I want to graduate by next year, I kind of have to take summer courses. Now I don't mind taking summer courses, but what sucks is that my financial aid doesn't cover it. So that $3300 I was getting from Murphy is now going to 7 credit hours this summer. I'm taking:

Spirituality and Empowerment: Monday and Wednesday 9:00am-1:00pm
Ficiton Writing I: Monday and Wednesday 1:00pm-4:50pm

Since I tested out of English Comp I at UNO, I have to take and advanced writing course. I figured I would just take Ficiton Writing I. Apparently that doesn't qualify as an advanced writing course, but Fiction Writing II does. The problem, though, is that I can't take Ficiton Writing II until I take Fiction Writing I, so I'm just going to suck it up and take it over the summer. Granted I could take another advanced writing course, but I really want to take fiction writing. My schedule for next semester is as follows:

Monday and Wednesday:
Musical Theater Dance III 9:30am-10:50am
Keyboard I 1:00pm-1:50pm

Tuesday and Thursday:
History of the American Working Class 9:00am-10:15am
Musical Theater III: Workshop I 11:00am-1:50pm
History of the Caribbean: To 1800 2:00pm-3:20pm

Friday:
Speaking Out 9:00am-11:50pm

I wanted to avoid any Friday classes...oh well. I also have to get a spot for Private Voice with Sharon. Probably on Monday of Wednesday since Tuesday and Thursday are pretty full.
