I had forgotten how truly awful the film version of A Chorus Line is. Seriously, it's one of the worst film adaptations of a stage musical I've ever seen. And it's not even so bad that I can laugh at it. The only good thing about it is Terrence Mann (though when is he ever not good?) I couldn't stomach the whole thing. Now I have to listen to my CD of A Chorus Line to remind myself that the show is good.
Last night the new Angelina Jolie film was filming outside my apartment. I mean people had to be escorted into our building. I can tell you this much about it: It involves search lights (which were kindly set up right across from my building and shone into my apartment countless time), a car chase (which took place right outside my apartment) and gun shots (again, right outside my apartment). Fun night.
