Yesterday I got up early to sing at St Augustine Mass (were singing Day By Day and All Good Gifts from the show). We sucked. I mean, really sucked. But it's cool.

After rehearsal that night, I went out with [livejournal.com profile] sita_face, Jordan Queen, and Romero to Sonic. Jordan had a playlist of 90 Broadway songs, so we sat in the car, eating, and singing out strong. When we got to La Vie Boheme's "You bet your ass":

Me:I'm gonna do it!

[Unknown site tag] and I checked to make sure no one was in the parking lot, then dropped our pants. Yeah. Nice.

We also sang the Forbidden Broadway lyrics when we got to Defying Gravity. Probably was not a good diea to beat our throats when the show is opening this week. On that note, I would like to shamelessly plug the show:

Godspell plays August 3rd, 4th, and 5th. 7:30 all three days, plus a 2:30 matinee on the 5th. Tickets are $8 for general admission and $12 for reserved seating. The church is located at 3412 Haring Road in Metarie. Call 504.887.4801 for more info. Come see my show!

Finally, I yoinked this from [livejournal.com profile] i_heart_my_geek:

1. I want everyone who reads this to ask me 3 questions, no more no less
2. Ask me anything you want
3. Then copy and paste this into your journal

You did it for me, so...I gotta do it for you.

1. You have to pick just ONE. WHat is your favorite musical?

2. If you had to dye your hair one color, any color in the rainbow, what would it be?

3. If you had to have sex with one celebrity, including Broadway stars, who would it be?

1) Gah! Hard...currently, though, I'd have to say Sweeney Todd. It's a tough choice, though.

2) Oh red! Definitely red. In fact, I've wanted to dye it red for quite some time. A burgundy red, though.

1. What is your favorite curseword?

2. Who is the most annoying person on IMDB Rent board? (I promise your secret is safe with madam_clairvoyance)

3. What do you hold to be an absolute truth?

1) I don't really have a favorite, but the one I use the most would probably be either dickwank or fuckwad.

2)Wow, hard one. I'll discount trolls because that's too obvious (and they're not really around anymore). I would say Mrs. Pascal, but she's not around anymore. For now I'll say WillyJLover.

3) That's probably the deepest question I've ever recieved on one of these. I'd say Death.

1. Would George W. Bush ever really take a walk with Pink and/or the Indigo Girls?

2. Should I come play with you and your crazy IMDB Rent friends?

3. Sweeney Todd vs. Bat Boy. Who wins and why?

1) Probably not.

2) Yes! Come join us in our snarkiness, as we mock others!

3) Sweeney Todd. He has Lovett on his side and she is one crafty bitch. Not to mention, Bat Boy has more of a soul than Sweeney does, so he'd probably be a bit more hesitant...and he wants to die by the end.

1. With Usher, Rita Wilson, and Haylie Duff representing a few members of the current crop of Broadway replacement performers who gained fame doing something other than Broadway shows, which non-Broadway performer would you like to see as a replacement in a Broadway musical, in what role/musical, and why?

2. What is your least favorite aspect about your most favorite city?

3. Which of the movies currently showing would you recommend I watch besides The Devil Wears Prada (though I'm sure I could stand to see it three times... but that would kind of be a waste of money, heh), The Break-Up (which, despite its redeeming moments, I didn't like, and I'm not sure is even out anymore), and Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest?

1) I'd say Catherine Zeta-Jones. I'd lvoe to see her in Cabaret as Sally Bowles (despite the fact that it is no longer runnning). I could also see her as Shelia in the upcoming revival of A Chorus Line.

20 Chicago is currently my favorite city, but my least favorite aspect is how crowded it can become. I'm just glad I don't have to drive places!

3) Devil Wears Prada is the only movie I have seen lately, but I'd say Scoop. Even though it got bad reviews, I love Hugh Jackman and Scarlett Johannson, and Woody Allen can do good things when he puts his mind to it,

1) If you could meet any person, living or dead, who would it be?

2) If you knew that you only had a few days left to live, and you could do anything that you wanted, what would be the one thing that you would do before you die?

3) What would you say has been the one moment in your life that has had the most significant impact on you?

I know that these questions are slightly cliche, but I love seeing what people give as answers to these.

1) Sondheim, without a dobut. That man is so incredibly talented and opened an entire new dimension of Musical Theater for me.

2) Definitely sexual intercourse (sorry if that's too much information). My biggest fear with that, though, is that I'd get pregnant, and the baby would subsequently die as well.

3) The devistation of Hurricane Katrina. It was probably the most shocking and most surreal moment of my life.
