sondheimmcgeekI just wrote the worst paper of my life for Text Analysis. Luckily, our teacher told us almost everyone does poorly on the first paper, and she does allow us to re-write them after we conference with her.
So I was offered a seasonal position at Crate and Barrel. This would mean I'd work for two months and then I'd put in for a part time job that I may or may not get. But I'm going to take it. It's $8.50 an hour and even if I don't get a part time job after, I can find something else. Their hours work much better for me than the ones at Starbucks and for once I'm not working in food service.
When I went to my interview, the guy couldn't find my application. He had grabbed the wrong one because, go figure, three girls named Colleen had applied and had interviews lined up for that day. But he was really nice and it seems like a really great place.
