sondheimmcgeekLast night was Wes' LET THEM EAT CAKE housewarming party. I made my way over at about 8:30 or so. I spent a good deal of the night talking with Hannah (roommate from last year) which was nice. I felt like last year she and I didn't get to talk enough. I ended up being a little tipsy when I left at 10:40 for Pam's party (by the by, vodka and Sprite don't work together).
I, happily, arrived before Pam, so I got to surprise her along with everyone else. We had Britney Spears, Nsync, and BSB playing in the background (like I said, it was like a flashback of seventh grade) and plenty of booze to go around (including some incredibly strong jello shots)
Emily and I left at 2:00, leaving Tegan behind. We waited at the Roosevelt Red stop for 20 minutes before just deciding to hail a cab.
This morning I had work at 10:00 which lasted until 6:00pm. It was pandemonium! I was a runner, so I had to run up and down stairs, fetching items for customers. One woman wanted a snowman orniment. I get it and bring it up. Oh, but she didn't want to snowman wiht the blue scarf, she wanted the one with the red scarf.
Then, a woman came in telling me she was looking for a placemat she had seen in another Crate and Barrel.
Me: Do you remember the name of it?
Her: No. But it was red.
Me:...ok...
Cause you know that narrows it down.
Her: It was bambooish.
Me:...Ok...*runs down to stock room*
I ended up finding it, though it wasn't red, it was black with red border. *sigh*
I got out at 6:00 and rushed to rehearsal...only to see it was pretty much over. I went with a bunch of people to see Ubu Roi. It was fantastic. I seriously loved it.
Honestly, I'd say more, but I'm exhausted and my legs are killing me. G'night!
