Prom Night!

Went to the junior prom last night with Jim. It was basically the same as my junior prom, except this time I actually had a date. It was fun, even though the music sucked, as it almost always does at every dance. They tricked me a couple times though. Once I heard the first few notes of "I Love Rock and Roll" only to find out it was the Britney Spears version. Then I heard the beginning of "Take my Breath Away" only to find it was the Jessica Simpson version *pouts* Oh well.

I got to see Lori Navo, a girl I was friends with in grade school. She was Matt's date. Also got to see Matt (Kayla's boyfriend). I haven't seen him since Christmas I think.

Burt, our Pippin, spent about $100 on pictures. I don't mean the pictures of him and Rachel (his date) and the group pictures. I mean pictures of just him. See, Burt's family is very rich. They have a lot of money to blow, which is exactly what he does.

He took one head thrown back, eyes closed, hands thrown into the air, mouth open as though he is screaming. He took another holding a sign which said "Honeymustard Sauce." Last, he took one hiding behind a balloon bouquet . *shakes head* Ya know, as a poor person (or at least a middle class person) I can't stand to watch that. I could have spent that money better. But whatever he wants...

Went to Barrister's (sp?) before prom and then to Gerald's after. Jim got a dounut covered with cinnamon (I think) and spent about 6 or 7 minutes brushing the cinnamon off into a bag. Suddenly, he got a great idea to get it off! He dropped it into a bag (the same one he had been brushing the cinnamon off into) and shook it up. He pulled the dounut out and it was covered even more than it had been.

Matt: What did we learn, Jim? 

Got home around 12:30; got to bed around 1:00am. Got up this morning for aboout 9am to go to Pippin rehearsal around10am. Then, finally, came home at 4pm

*sigh* It's been a long day!
