Uh, so Altar Boyz? Amazing. Fucking amazing.

So, for anyone unfamiliar with the show, it's the final show for the boyband Altar Boyz "Raise the Praise" tour. The Altar Boyz are:

Matthew (hunky leader)
Mark (gay guy)
Luke (bad boy)
Juan (latin lover)
Abraham (jewish kid who thinks he ended up in the group by mistake.

They have the Soul Senser DX 12 which can tell how many people in the audience need God's saving. Their goal is for it to reach 0 by the end of the show.

It's mostly a boyband concert of sorts, but there's also some story line to it. For example, they decided to tell us how they formed the group, so each wrote how they remember it happening, and they dramatized it for our viewing pleasure. So we have The Genesis of Altar Boyz according to Matthew first. Then according to Mark. And so on.

A couple of my favorite quotes:

Mark: Are jewish people even allowed in church?
Abraham: Well there's one hanging on that cross right there.

Luke: So how does the Soul Senser DX 12 work?
Matthew: Well, Luke, I could go into a long, techinical explanation of it, but isn't it nicer to just believe that it does?

Abraham: So Altar Boyz evolved into what it--
Matthew: *interrupting* Dude...don't use the word "evolved."
