sita_face's mom came in and informed us that on August 15th Jason Robert Brown would be performing at Le Chat Noir.
*cue tennybopperish scream*
JRB! Here! ON August 15th! Her mom offered to order me a ticket!
After rehearsal I went to stay over at Amanda's new house in Arabi. Jessica nad Diane were already there knocking back virgin daquiris. Well, Amanda said they were virgin. By the way were acting that night, I have my doubts. The basic evening involved:
-Diane falling out of her chair
-Us playing Life
-Amanda saying something stupid
-Us laughing at something Amanda said
-Us remember stupid things Amanda has said
-Amanda shoving Diane out of her chair
-Us watching video's from 7 years ago when I was in 8th grade and they were freshman. It was Amanda's first "real" sleepover. Highlight of the video-Camera slowly falling backwards on the tripod and Amanda's dad's face appearing over it. Rewound it 5 times to re-watch.
-Jessica pulling Diane off of the couch causing Diane to fall flat on her face.
-Us giggling insanely over something Amanda said.
The next morning I left straigh from Amanda's house to go to rehearsal.
sita_face informed me that we not only had front row seats for the show, we were going to be sitting right in front od the piano. After hugging her mother and telling her how much I loved her, her mom told me they were able to get the tickets for half price. Half. Price.
Translation: Previous price- $31. New price- $15.50
JRB is coming to Le Chat Noir in 16 days.
I am going to see him.
