sondheimmcgeekSo yesterday, while "making art" with Emily and Brandon the fire alarm goes off. At first we didn't do anything. Then we saw other people leaving. So we grabbed our stuff and walked to the stairs. I didn't get a coat, but it wasn't cold outside (thank God).
After a few minutes we went back inside and back to our room.
Maybe fifteen minutes later the alarm goes off again. We weren't going to go, but an RA knocked on our door and told us to go to the second floor.
Because you know, if there's a fire, we're all going to go to the second floor. We're not going to go outside or anything. The second floor is the best place to go *eyeroll*
We got there to see a fire chief (I think) who then explained to us about fire safety and how if this were a real fire we'd yada yada yada. I felt like I was in third grade again and the two firefighter clowns were going to teach us stop, drop and roll before we took a tour of the fire truck.
Used the picture of Audrey on my broken purse to make a poster. Basically it's her picture, the straps made into a frame, some Breakfast at Tiffany's quotes (including Moon River lyrics) and the words Breakfast at Tiffany's (the 'I' in "Tiffany's" is dotted with a diamond). It doesn't look great, but it's not horrible either.
